Chef Michael DeLone

Chef Michael DeLone is a Chef who prefers to let his food speak for itself. In his role as Executive Chef and owner of Nunzio, a popular, Collingswood New Jersey-based Italian BYOB establishment, Chef DeLone has revamped the entire menu to include classic Italian favorites as well as sophisticated modern dishes while incorporating his passion for seafood. As Executive Chef, he leads and manages his kitchen in addition to working the line daily. He is truly a hands-on chef who leads his team by example. Chef DeLone finds his inspiration in the classic ingredients that have characterized Italian cuisine for centuries. Through his characteristic, modern style, he is known for creatively reinventing classic ingredients with a sophisticated twist.

 Prior to Nunzio, he helmed the kitchen as Executive Chef at Philadelphia’s Bistro Romano. Before that, he was the Executive Chef at Philadelphia’s award-winning and beloved restaurant Le Castagne where he showcased his culinary talents through such stand-out items as his homemade desserts, bread, sausages, and specialty pasta. His career comes full circle as he started at Monte Carlo Living Room which is where he originally discovered his passion for Italian cuisine and worked closely under Chef Nunzio Patruno.
